An adhesive set which consists of high viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive and activator.

PROPERTIES

  • High bonding strength.
  • Suitable for use on vertical surfaces as it will not drip or slump.
  • It is particularly suited to bonding difficult substrates which have a porous or uneven nature since it increases bonding strength by preventing the adhesive to be absorbed by the surface.

AKFIX 705 WOW FAQs

Yes, it's just a regular medium-thickness CA glue. It will just take a bit longer to set.

It is universal, and it will work with any CA glue.

We would not recommend to fix an automobile bumper with the glue.

It goes quite far if you are careful. One little squeeze and a good 1/3 came out quickly.

No, catalyst overspray dries without residue.

The short answer is yes, but it also depends on how it was applied.

Depending on what you are attaching, yes, it works on stone. As long as it is a layer, then activate and let dry. If the stone is porous, you might have to apply a layer, then activate and let dry. Then apply another layer and attach your fixture, then activate. Finally, you could test it on a similar stone and similar attachment to see if it works. Stuff is amazing and sticks solidly to everything. The only thing that works better is epoxy.

Akfix used a lot of trim, crown molding, etc., and painted it all, and we never saw any problems.

It works fantastic on MDF molding and trims, but we would not recommend the spray for your nails. The spray does not come out of the nozzle with any kind of precision. We are also pretty sure it was never intended for use on nails.

Yes, it just needs 24 hours to cure before using.

Yes. Just be careful if you use the activator because you literally will have 1 second to get it right. The best way is to add the glue, then spritz a little activator once you have it perfect and set immediately and permanently.

No. It is not a good use of this product.

Our experience with using CA to bond aluminum to anything would be NO. Aluminum and most plastics would have too smooth a surface for any glue to adhere, even if the surface was roughed up a bit. So, we always made miter sleds so the bars were at a thickness allowing the bars to ride on the bottom of the grooves and the bottom of the sled was not in contact with the top of the saw table by just a whisker. That way, the only contact would be the bottom of the bars.

Bonds to courser metal.
